Loving-Kindness

Loving-Kindness

I found the exercise to be very relaxing, however it was somewhat of an issue for me to really dedicate my whole being to the exercise.  The reason I say this is that I am not a person that has a difficult time on visualizing a person that I care deeply about, it was just the persons that where coming to mind.  I believe this exercise allows a person to meditate on those who are either missing in a persons life or those who are very active in a persons life.  This exercise can be both positive and negative.  I really think this exercise would be beneficial for an individual who has learned to have that spiritual and mental connection with not only their inner self but those whom they hold close to their heats.  An example would be for two people who really love each other and they have the mental and spiritual bond, they can feel, smell, and breath for that person even if they are not in their environment.  Now, I can say this exercise can be negative for a person who has just lost a loved one.  To make a person visualize a loved one from a recent lost, can cause more stress and uncomfortable feelings during the exercise.holds resentment against another person.

Mental Workout

2. The concept of a mental workout is help an individual stream and clean their minds of unnecessary garbage that may fill their mind on a daily basis.  If your mind can be clear to absorb positive aspects of life the negative ones more than likely will have less of an affect on that person.  During the process of a mental workout one should be able to open their our mind to unexplainable expanded consciousness levels for which in turn will increase the connection of mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
